About the Fox & Hounds
Tucked down Calverton Road in Blidworth Bottoms, the Fox & Hounds has been part of the Nottinghamshire landscape for as long as anyone round here can remember. We're family-owned, and it shows — in the handmade pies rolled out fresh each week, in the Sunday roasts made with local ingredients, and in the fact that muddy boots and dogs are genuinely welcome.
Whether you're dropping in after a walk through Blidworth Woods or making an evening of it with the tapas sharing menu, you'll find a kitchen that cooks real food and a bar that keeps decent cask ale on the pumps.

From the kitchen
Our pies are made on-site — shortcrust pastry, generous fillings, proper gravy. Alongside them you'll find fish & chips, steaks, and a Sunday roast that uses local Nottinghamshire produce and needs no dressing up. The chef's daily specials board changes every day and it's always worth asking what's on it.
